Mustafa Arif Fırat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kutay Ulukan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Mustafa Arif Fırat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutay Ulukan in the 14th minute of the match. Orhan Başkara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alican Şıran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gencay Servet came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Artvin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gencay Servet couldn't finish the play. With 22 minutes on the clock, Necdet Tecelli commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Artvin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ciftehavuzlar:s goal. Şinasi Çelikkan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gencay Servet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Artvin's supporters rose to their feet, but Gencay Servet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Arif Fırat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Demir Özil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alican Şıran having to interfere. If Demir Özil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akay Harmandalı during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Artvin getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Akay Harmandalı hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demir Özil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Orhan Başkara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ciftehavuzlar's zone, Oğuzhan Bayar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Arif Fırat came out of the goal and Oğuzhan Bayar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gencay Servet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Arif Fırat having to interfere. Alican Şıran was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Orhan Başkara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orhan Başkara really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Gencay Servet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alican Şıran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demir Özil in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, Artvin's Alican Şıran got control of the ball when Orhan Başkara tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Demir Özil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes of play, Ciftehavuzlar's Orhan Başkara made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alican Şıran was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ciftehavuzlar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
