Hızır Karginalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğaner Cenan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doğaner Cenan charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doğaner Cenan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tarakli FK's Doğaner Cenan got a free kick in the 20th minute. Doğaner Cenan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Unkapani defense, Kutay Türköz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hızır Karginalp. The Unkapani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hızır Karginalp should have stopped the shot. Kutay Türköz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hızır Karginalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Arif Bilge Şamil from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Aygün Satıbey's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Oğuzkan Ekinoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Hürkan Tunçhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unkapani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hürkan Tunçhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tarakli FK's Aygün Satıbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Tarakli FK from getting a goal against them. Aygün Satıbey was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Hürkan Tunçhan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hürkan Tunçhan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hürkan Tunçhan made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oğuzkan Ekinoğlu in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aygün Satıbey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes of play, Unkapani's Hürkan Tunçhan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aygün Satıbey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doğaner Cenan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hızır Karginalp having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kutay Türköz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hızır Karginalp was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The referee showed Efekan Ertaş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Efekan Ertaş kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Aygün Satıbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Numan Ziverbey in the 96th minute of play. When Oğuzkan Ekinoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Unkapani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuzkan Ekinoğlu couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
