Tayyip Salcan kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Osman Nuri Özkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suphi Şen having to interfere. Suphi Şen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldırım Onursev in the 11th minute of the match. Dinç Yasin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Necdet Seccac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yakup Kadri Urza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suphi Şen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yıldırım Onursev, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Yıldırım Onursev got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Yıldırım Onursev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suphi Şen having to interfere. Osman Nuri Özkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suphi Şen having to interfere. Kılıçalp Uluant was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yıldırım Onursev was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tufanbeyli's zone, Yıldırım Onursev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Suphi Şen came out of the goal and Yıldırım Onursev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Köse's Osman Nuri Özkar got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tufanbeyli's Suphi Şen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldırım Onursev in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Osman Nuri Özkar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Suphi Şen. Tufanbeyli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osman Nuri Özkar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Suphi Şen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osman Nuri Özkar in the 78th minute of the match. Suphi Şen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yıldırım Onursev's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Murat Selim Vurgun's late challenge caught a Köse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murat Selim Vurgun helped the player get up and apologised. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Köse fully deserved thier win.
