Ali Galip Oğuzata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayrettin Yağız in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Bumin Polat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Hatay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Raşit Güdü came free, but Ali Galip Oğuzata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Galip Oğuzata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Yağız in the 24th minute of play. Raşit Güdü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Galip Oğuzata having to interfere. The supporters of Ivrindi booed when Hatay SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bumin Polat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raşit Güdü might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Galip Oğuzata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raşit Güdü ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Raşit Güdü made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Raşit Güdü kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ali Galip Oğuzata. That made the score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Hayrettin Yağız cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ali Galip Oğuzata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ali Galip Oğuzata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hayrettin Yağız in the 63rd minute. Hayrettin Yağız sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hayrettin Yağız scored 0-6 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Galip Oğuzata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
