In the 10th minute Selami Cevahir suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Kağan Taze charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kağan Taze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Kağan Taze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes Hatay SK got a freekick which was hit by Bumin Polat. Tevfik Şahvar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ali Galip Oğuzata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Semail Eygül fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alican Karin having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Doganyurt SK's Cenan Budak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tevfik Şahvar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ali Galip Oğuzata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Semail Eygül recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Cenan Budak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doganyurt SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cenan Budak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Semail Eygül might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alican Karin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Semail Eygül ran back to his position shaking his head. Cenan Budak struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ali Galip Oğuzata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doganyurt SK.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Semail Eygül to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Semail Eygül left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hatay SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ali Galip Oğuzata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tevfik Şahvar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Hatay SK's Semail Eygül dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 65 minutes into the match, Hatay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cenan Budak came free, but Ali Galip Oğuzata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hatay SK's Ali Galip Oğuzata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenan Budak in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Doganyurt SK's zone, Semail Eygül stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alican Karin came out of the goal and Semail Eygül tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mustafa Barış Talik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Semail Eygül ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alican Karin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 93rd minute, Tevfik Şahvar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
