Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berkan Eslem took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hazım Durhal's late challenge caught a Güney FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hazım Durhal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd match minute, Menemen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hazım Durhal to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Berkan Eslem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artaç Dirican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Ahmet İlhan Balabey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Güney FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menemen the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkan Eslem in the 17th minute of play forced Güney FK's goalkeeper Artaç Dirican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Menemen defense, Hacı Ozaner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yağızhan İncirli. The Menemen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yağızhan İncirli should have stopped the shot. Artaç Dirican made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seyhan Uyguralp in the 22nd minute. Seyhan Uyguralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hacı Ozaner in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yağızhan İncirli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Baturay Vecihi fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güney FK's protests and gave Baturay Vecihi a yellow card for diving instead. Baturay Vecihi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Birant Paksoy fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güney FK's protests and gave Birant Paksoy a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Güney FK got a freekick which was hit by Birant Paksoy. If Berkan Eslem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Menemen were awarded a corner. Batu Cem Celilay went to the cornerflag to take it. Batu Cem Celilay made a great header on Menemen's corner, it was just that Güney FK's Artaç Dirican managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half Güney FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hacı Ozaner to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Berkan Eslem notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Güney FK's Artaç Dirican. Artaç Dirican was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Seyhan Uyguralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artaç Dirican was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Berkan Eslem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menemen's supporters rose to their feet, but Berkan Eslem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artaç Dirican breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seyhan Uyguralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Tuncay Yürük got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Hacı Ozaner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Güney FK's goal looked a bit too open when Berkan Eslem came free, but Artaç Dirican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
