Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muhsin Heybetli in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Faydalı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bilgin Gulabi was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sefaköy's Muhsin Heybetli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Faydalı narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Bilgin Gulabi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Haldun Perinçek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tacettin İlker having to interfere. If Muhsin Heybetli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Celtikci got a freekick which was hit by Arif Egemen Ekemen. Mehmet Faydalı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilgin Gulabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilgin Gulabi in the 82nd minute of play forced Celtikci's goalkeeper Mehmet Faydalı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Muhsin Heybetli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
