The supporters of Celtikci booed when Yesilköy FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berk Refet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mümtazer Çağakan charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mümtazer Çağakan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Yesilköy FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mümtazer Çağakan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Yesilköy FK's Mümtazer Çağakan got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ahmet Haşim Özkutal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mehmet Faydalı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Haşim Özkutal was the one to do the kick off. Haldun Perinçek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Haşim Özkutal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Faydalı having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Yesilköy FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Celtikci:s goal. If Haldun Perinçek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Berk Refet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Faydalı was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Haldun Perinçek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serhat Altunışık having to interfere. Haldun Perinçek struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Serhat Altunışık didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celtikci. In the 92nd minute, Haldun Perinçek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serhat Altunışık was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Celtikci players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
