The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Ermenek JK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Refik Tacir. With a little luck, Kadiköy's Mehmet Arif Demirtuğ got control of the ball when Hüseyin Turan Nazmi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Özal Hür fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Arif Demirtuğ having to interfere. Ermenek JK's Özal Hür got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hüseyin Turan Nazmi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ali Macit Buyruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Özal Hür managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ermenek JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Özal Hür was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Arif Demirtuğ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Arif Demirtuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özal Hür in the 30th minute of play. If Ali Macit Buyruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karadeniz Oğuzkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Osman Nuri İhya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Macit Buyruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 minutes of play Ermenek JK's Ahmet Refik Tacir was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ahmet Refik Tacir hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hüseyin Turan Nazmi to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Ali Macit Buyruk notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ermenek JK's Osman Nuri İhya. Osman Nuri İhya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the match, Kadiköy's Karadeniz Oğuzkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osman Nuri İhya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Ermenek JK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Özal Hür hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Kadiköy's Karadeniz Oğuzkan got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 63 played minutes Ermenek JK got a freekick which was hit by Özal Hür. In the 64th minute of the match Güralp Akkın sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osman Nuri İhya skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karadeniz Oğuzkan in the 65th minute of play forced Ermenek JK's goalkeeper Osman Nuri İhya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hüseyin Turan Nazmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kadiköy's Mehmet Arif Demirtuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Turan Nazmi in the 84th minute of play. Osman Nuri İhya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Macit Buyruk in the 89th minute. If Hüseyin Turan Nazmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
