The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Bilgin Candemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayhan Yanık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes Arapkir's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Burak Şehzat who took care of the corner kick. Hürkan Sair's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Cüneyt Oba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 18th minute, Ergin Taştekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Arapkir's goal looked a bit too open when Güneri Rızkullah came free, but Ayhan Yanık reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Bilgin Candemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, one of Arapkir:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Kepsut FK a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Burak Şehzat, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arapkir's Ayhan Yanık. 0-1. Güneri Rızkullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ayhan Yanık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güneri Rızkullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bilgin Candemir got free in front of the goal in the 39th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ayhan Yanık was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Özdemir Akçakaya made a kick off. The supporters of Kepsut FK booed when Arapkir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taha Muhtar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bircan Adal's late challenge caught a Arapkir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bircan Adal helped the player get up and apologised. Bircan Adal hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Özdemir Akçakaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arapkir's supporters rose to their feet, but Özdemir Akçakaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cüneyt Oba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Güneri Rızkullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayhan Yanık having to interfere. In the 78th minute Güneri Rızkullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayhan Yanık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Güneri Rızkullah recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ayhan Yanık. Güneri Rızkullah showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Hürkan Sair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 1-2 became the score in the 91st minute when Özdemir Akçakaya elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kepsut FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
