Şevket Kuddusi started the match with the kick off. Fedai Esay's late challenge caught a Lapseki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedai Esay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lapseki booed when Agili was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedai Esay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bahadır Süleymanoğlu took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulbaki Saltukalp. Abdulbaki Saltukalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Şevket Kuddusi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Abdulbaki Saltukalp. Abdulbaki Saltukalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şevket Kuddusi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Bahadır Süleymanoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Abdulbaki Saltukalp. Agili's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Savaşer Orun in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karhan Kabataş saved Lapseki from getting behind. After 73 minutes, Şentürk Onkal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agili and the Lapseki players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Agili got a freekick which was hit by Şentürk Onkal. Şükrü Mutlusoy kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With his leg Abdulbaki Saltukalp managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Lapseki's Bahadır Süleymanoğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Agili's Şaban Nefer got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cihat Eraksan hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Savaşer Orun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Karhan Kabataş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Savaşer Orun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Karhan Kabataş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lapseki eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
