Hüsnü Ziyaettin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Babür Tunçöven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. Eynesil JK's Hüsnü Ziyaettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babür Tunçöven in the 20th minute of play. Hüsnü Ziyaettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babür Tunçöven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Okanay Serhun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resulhan Akbudun in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Resulhan Akbudun in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Okanay Serhun saved Rumeli from getting behind. If Resulhan Akbudun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Resulhan Akbudun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Okanay Serhun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsmen Tekindağ in the 55th minute of play. Rumeli's Tümer Usalp suffered a sore thigh after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tahsin Selahaddin during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rumeli's Ferman Akburak got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Erdinç Onsal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferman Akburak was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Rumeli's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Babür Tunçöven scored 0-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hüsnü Ziyaettin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Eynesil JK's Resulhan Akbudun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Okanay Serhun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Eynesil JK's Tahsin Selahaddin got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Resulhan Akbudun in the 90th minute of play forced Rumeli's goalkeeper Okanay Serhun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
