Vahit Reis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Tatvan FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hakkı Pertev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the İSTANBUL defense, Vahit Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zikri Eracar. The İSTANBUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zikri Eracar should have stopped the shot. Dursun Oncel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Pertev in the 17th minute of play. Dursun Oncel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Pertev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Tatvan FK defense, Fedai Türegün kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dursun Oncel. The Tatvan FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dursun Oncel should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Hakkı Pertev sped through Tatvan FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dursun Oncel. Tatvan FK's Dursun Oncel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedai Türegün in the 34th minute of play. Dursun Oncel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedai Türegün in the 36th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vahit Reis's late challenge caught a İSTANBUL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vahit Reis helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Tatvan FK got a freekick which was hit by Vahit Reis. Tatvan FK's Dursun Oncel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedai Türegün in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Ali Kağan Başdaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zikri Eracar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dursun Oncel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ardahan Tuncay in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match Fedai Türegün climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-6 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Dursun Oncel. İSTANBUL's Hakkı Pertev got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Fedai Türegün managed to get in a good position for a shot. İSTANBUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Fedai Türegün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dursun Oncel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hakkı Pertev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İSTANBUL played a much better game than Tatvan FK and deserved their victory. The Tatvan FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
