In the 3rd minute, Ali Nejat Duman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute Songur Erbatur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Emir Başeğmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Korkut Oksu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferman Yakup in the 8th minute. GitGelGele's Ahmet Emir Başeğmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kemal Candemir in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes GitGelGele got a freekick which was hit by Çağdaş Kamber. If Songur Erbatur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tan Enginsoy scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Emir Başeğmez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Ali Başeğmez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferman Yakup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ahmet Korkut Oksu made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as GitGelGele's Mehmet Ali Başeğmez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Korkut Oksu. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Arguvan's zone, Mehmet Ali Başeğmez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Korkut Oksu came out of the goal and Mehmet Ali Başeğmez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Ali Başeğmez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Korkut Oksu was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Ahmet Korkut Oksu made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ferman Yakup sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th match minute, GitGelGele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Ali Başeğmez to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tan Enginsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sancar Tüzel during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sancar Tüzel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mehmet Ali Başeğmez made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GitGelGele getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mehmet Ali Başeğmez hit a great ball. The long shot by Alkan Bozbey in the 53rd minute really tested Ahmet Emir Başeğmez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to GitGelGele getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Çağdaş Kamber hit a great ball. Nejat Çağnur lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in GitGelGele fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Arguvan's Dilmen Onultan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ahmet Emir Başeğmez. GitGelGele's Mehmet Ali Başeğmez got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of GitGelGele booed when Arguvan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songur Erbatur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kemal Candemir charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kemal Candemir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Kemal Candemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute of the match Kılıçhan Özbek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Korkut Oksu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, GitGelGele's Ferman Yakup got a free kick in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, GitGelGele's goal looked a bit too open when Tan Enginsoy came free, but Ahmet Emir Başeğmez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When GitGelGele's Mehmet Ali Başeğmez in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arguvan's goalie prevented a goal. After 86 minutes, Aziz Ankara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arguvan and the GitGelGele players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mehmet Ali Başeğmez struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ahmet Korkut Oksu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GitGelGele. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ferman Yakup managed to get in a good position for a shot. GitGelGele's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferman Yakup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Korkut Oksu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Ali Başeğmez struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ahmet Korkut Oksu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GitGelGele. Mehmet Ali Başeğmez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Arguvan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
