The supporters of Ödemis booed when Konyaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emin Kayhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ödemis's Olcay Otaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Ödemis from getting a goal against them. Mustafa Cuma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balamir Özkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Ödemis got a freekick which was hit by Ferit Tongal. If Mustafa Emrah Helvacıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Emin Kayhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Konyaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Emin Kayhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olcay Otaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th match minute, Ödemis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihan Esenboğa to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Halil Can Sunullah sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ödemis's Olcay Otaran didn't even have to move. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anıl İlsak made a kick off. The supporters of Konyaspor booed when Ödemis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferit Tongal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 minutes of play, Konyaspor's Anıl İlsak made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olcay Otaran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zekai Daim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Mustafa Cuma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ödemis's Olcay Otaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Emrah Helvacıoğlu in the 64th minute of play. Emin Kayhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olcay Otaran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Balamir Özkan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 75th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emin Kayhan in the 84th minute of play forced Ödemis's goalkeeper Olcay Otaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olcay Otaran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasım Aygüneş's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Kasım Aygüneş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Konyaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasım Aygüneş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olcay Otaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balamir Özkan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Konyaspor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
