But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atalan Başdaş couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Cudispor FK's Evren Şinasi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kağan Şatıroğlu. Kağan Şatıroğlu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Atalan Başdaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Tekin Acunman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atacan Tamkoç in the 74th minute of play forced Cudispor FK's goalkeeper Ejder Başkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Idealtepe defense, Şentürk Gülle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kağan Şatıroğlu. The Idealtepe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kağan Şatıroğlu should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute Atalan Başdaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejder Başkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes, Samet Uluçam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cudispor FK and the Idealtepe players grew even worse after the yellow card.
