Rıfat Tokdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atıf Beytekin having to interfere. Rıfat Tokdemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Atıf Beytekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Çağdaş Baltaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Honaz FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rüstem Özgulec came free, but Fehmi Akhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rüstem Özgulec in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fehmi Akhan saved Honaz FK from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Honaz FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rüstem Özgulec came free, but Fehmi Akhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Rüstem Özgulec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fehmi Akhan. Honaz FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rüstem Özgulec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rüstem Özgulec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Recai Tokyay during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Honaz FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Recai Tokyay to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Honaz FK booed when Balmumcu JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Numan Ulucağ didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Balmumcu JK's Atıf Beytekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükrü Akdal in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Gencal Kurtuluş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 minutes, Ali Faruk Ergünay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honaz FK and the Balmumcu JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Honaz FK's Ali Faruk Ergünay got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Rüstem Özgulec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fehmi Akhan was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Rıfat Tokdemir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atıf Beytekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Fehmi Akhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Çağdaş Baltaş in the 67th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Kayacan Ihlamur notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Balmumcu JK's Atıf Beytekin. Atıf Beytekin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fehmi Akhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rüstem Özgulec in the 81st minute of the match. Honaz FK's Fehmi Akhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Honaz FK from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Rüstem Özgulec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şükrü Akdal might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atıf Beytekin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şükrü Akdal ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 96 minutes, Çağdaş Baltaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balmumcu JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çağdaş Baltaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kayacan Ihlamur kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Rüstem Özgulec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
