After 7 played minutes Datca SK got a freekick which was hit by Demirhan Erbay. In the 10th minute Doğuhan Hizanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkan Civanbaht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, İsa Samih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahmi Mürsel in the 17th minute of play forced Kücükbakkalköy's goalkeeper İlhami Alan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Datca SK got a freekick which was hit by Demirhan Erbay. In the 30th match minute, Datca SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Savaşer Dokuzoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Ömer Remiz struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Erkan Civanbaht didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kücükbakkalköy. The attack was good, but when Doğuhan Hizanlı in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Demirhan Erbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Alan having to interfere. Ceyhun Heybetli kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Rahmi Mürsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doğuhan Hizanlı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erkan Civanbaht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Remiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute of the game, Vatan Zafer landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 57 minutes, Meriç Kamver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Datca SK and the Kücükbakkalköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. İlhami Alan made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Rahmi Mürsel sent off a good shot on target. Ömer Remiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erkan Civanbaht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ömer Remiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Ömer Remiz scored 1-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erkan Civanbaht, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Battal Kudretullah during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Battal Kudretullah kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, İsa Samih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Datca SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but İsa Samih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rahmi Mürsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Kücükbakkalköy's Ömer Remiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erkan Civanbaht made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Raik Okseven charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raik Okseven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Kücükbakkalköy a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Barış Uzsoy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Datca SK's Erkan Civanbaht. 3-0. In the 87th minute, Rahmi Mürsel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Datca SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. A collision led to Datca SK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Yıldırım İlkut hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kücükbakkalköy had won after a very even match.
