The referee ignored Vanspor FK's protests and gave Kubat Yalavaç a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Vanspor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kubat Yalavaç to maneuver through the defense. Cenan Balbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efekan Özsahin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Alperen Kurtuluş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Murat Selim Tezalp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Varol Dilsaz in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cenan Balbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Yalçın Sururi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Cenan Balbay managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Vanspor FK's Varol Dilsaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Efekan Özsahin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Başaran Kurboga during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Başaran Kurboga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Varol Dilsaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenan Balbay having to interfere. Eralp Özerhan charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eralp Özerhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yalçın Sururi to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdulvahit Kuntman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cenan Balbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güvenç Kongurtay's late challenge caught a Vanspor FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güvenç Kongurtay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Güvenç Kongurtay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Sadikköy's goal looked a bit too open when Varol Dilsaz came free, but Cenan Balbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Güvenç Kongurtay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sadikköy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Güvenç Kongurtay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Murat Selim Tezalp came out and tried to block the shot, but Güvenç Kongurtay slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 87th minute. Yalçın Sururi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cenan Balbay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Varol Dilsaz's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Abdulvahit Kuntman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cenan Balbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yalçın Sururi kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Sadikköy were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Vanspor FK's much stronger midfield.
