In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Samandagi JK's goalkeeper Cevat Elmacıoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Müfit Öztay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Buğrahan Güzir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Samandagi JK booed when Resurrection was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erenay Yasin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Buğrahan Güzir in the 30th minute of play forced Resurrection's goalkeeper Müfit Öztay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Müfit Öztay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buğrahan Güzir, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Nuh Topel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevat Elmacıoğlu having to interfere. Müfit Öztay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buğrahan Güzir in the 41st minute of play. When Onur Ali İlseven fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Resurrection's protests and gave Onur Ali İlseven a yellow card for diving instead. Onur Ali İlseven kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nuh Topel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resurrection's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuh Topel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cevat Elmacıoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ahmet Çağrı İzmirli struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Müfit Öztay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samandagi JK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuh Topel in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cevat Elmacıoğlu saved Samandagi JK from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuh Topel in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cevat Elmacıoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, Serter Kaçkar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Resurrection were awarded a corner. Boran Nuri went to the cornerflag to take it. Hilmi Kaçkar made a great header on Resurrection's corner, it was just that Samandagi JK's Cevat Elmacıoğlu managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 70 minutes, Buğrahan Güzir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samandagi JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Buğrahan Güzir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Samandagi JK's goalkeeper Cevat Elmacıoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nuh Topel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuh Topel struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Resurrection fully deserved thier win.
