Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kadri Tuğalp got the match started through his kick off. Birol Tezer hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Faik Özboga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Güvenç Akıncıbeyoğlu struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Habib Onurkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elbistan Gücü. After a rather tough play, Selamicesme's Ümit Alpsoy got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Mete Ergüner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Elbistan Gücü's Numan Pınarbaşı slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Habib Onurkan. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Elbistan Gücü's Seyit Ekiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadri Tuğalp in the 20th minute of play. Habib Onurkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fikret İhsan's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. When Ümit Alpsoy fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selamicesme's protests and gave Ümit Alpsoy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Ümit Alpsoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Selamicesme's goalkeeper Habib Onurkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Güvenç Akıncıbeyoğlu. Seyit Ekiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadri Tuğalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Elbistan Gücü getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Güvenç Akıncıbeyoğlu hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Selamicesme's goalkeeper Habib Onurkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Ergüner. In the 32nd minute Kadri Tuğalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyit Ekiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Selamicesme's goalkeeper Habib Onurkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Ergüner. In the 36th minute, Mete Ergüner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Habib Onurkan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Habib Onurkan was a little too slow when Fikret İhsan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-0. Karhan Satvet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fikret İhsan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Güvenç Akıncıbeyoğlu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Ümit Alpsoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Selamicesme's zone, Numan Pınarbaşı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Habib Onurkan came out of the goal and Numan Pınarbaşı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mete Ergüner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Habib Onurkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 63 minutes, Orhan Veli Baybora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selamicesme and the Elbistan Gücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Güvenç Akıncıbeyoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fikret İhsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Numan Pınarbaşı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Onurkan having to interfere. Habib Onurkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fikret İhsan in the 78th minute of the match. Elbistan Gücü's Mete Ergüner got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mete Ergüner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elbistan Gücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Mete Ergüner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Habib Onurkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Elbistan Gücü players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
