During the 52nd minute of the match Erkut İmran completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erkut İmran a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 94thth minute of the game Ahmet Gökalp Deryace who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kütahya's Arif Cengiz Tatar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Günay Bilgetay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Cengiz Tatar having to interfere. The Kütahya supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kütahya would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
