Reşit Yalım dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Reşit Yalım didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, Nurettin Türel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Nedim Doğa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Üzeyir Ümit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Ahmet Danış Hüdayioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute Türkeş Şanalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reşit Yalım saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Türkeş Şanalp struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Reşit Yalım didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarayönü SK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Nedim Doğa in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Üzeyir Ümit saved Sarayönü SK from getting behind. Nurettin Türel kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Evren SK's Vacid Erva got a free kick in the 35th minute. Sarayönü SK's Üzeyir Ümit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Nedim Doğa in the 38th minute of play. Reşit Yalım made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Nurettin Türel struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match, Türkeş Şanalp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reşit Yalım saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Nedim Doğa to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Evren SK got a freekick which was hit by Tarık Ungan. After having played for 54 minutes, Burhanettin Akçalı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Evren SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burhanettin Akçalı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Danış Hüdayioğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Üzeyir Ümit made a huge save. Evren SK's Ahmet Danış Hüdayioğlu suffered a concussion in the 58th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Doğukan Ülken kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Sarayönü SK's Üzeyir Ümit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Sarayönü SK from getting a goal against them. If Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Nedim Doğa kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Sarayönü SK's Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu managed to work through Evren SK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 75 minutes into the match, Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reşit Yalım. Evren SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Sarayönü SK booed when Evren SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarık Ungan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Evren SK's goal looked a bit too open when Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu came free, but Reşit Yalım reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reşit Yalım showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Şanalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Reşit Yalım took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nurettin Türel struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Burhanettin Akçalı got free with Üzeyir Ümit in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reşit Yalım showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paşa Ali Tosunoğlu in the 95th minute of the match. Sarayönü SK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
