The supporters of Cayyolu booed when Salihli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suavi Öksak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halil Keskiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibet Ötüken having to interfere. When Saltuk Savaş fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayyolu's protests and gave Saltuk Savaş a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Saltuk Savaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17thth minute of the game Ragıp Doğa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cayyolu's Baturhan Yaruk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th match minute, Cayyolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osman Nuri İhtiyar to maneuver through the defense. Halil Keskiner struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Tibet Ötüken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cayyolu. After 29 played minutes Salihli got a freekick which was hit by Bektaş Öztaş. The audience was convinced that Barbaros Şener's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tibet Ötüken was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Tibet Ötüken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barbaros Şener, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Salihli's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Keskiner came free, but Tibet Ötüken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Cayyolu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Necdet Batüralp ran over to the corner to take the kick. Necdet Batüralp made a great header on Cayyolu's corner, it was just that Salihli's Tibet Ötüken managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 78th minute of the match, Barbaros Şener tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tibet Ötüken saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute, Dinç Beytekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İshak Engintalay hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
