Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erkin Tolgan started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Suavi Öksak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ragıp Doğa struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Aral Taylak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salihli. Salihli's Tibet Ötüken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erkin Tolgan in the 17th minute of play. Arif Memduh Korkut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tibet Ötüken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Salihli getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Çelik Seralp hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Oktay Yalavaç shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tibet Ötüken showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dinç Beytekin charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinç Beytekin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Salihli getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Arif Gaffar Onsoy hit a great ball. If Arif Memduh Korkut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Memduh Korkut scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tibet Ötüken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Fikirtepe's zone, Ragıp Doğa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aral Taylak came out of the goal and Ragıp Doğa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ragıp Doğa might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aral Taylak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ragıp Doğa ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ragıp Doğa to make the kick off. When Dinç Beytekin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. After 56 played minutes Salihli got a freekick which was hit by Dinç Beytekin. Suavi Öksak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Aral Taylak made a huge save. After 62 minutes, Ragıp Doğa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salihli and the Fikirtepe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Salihli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragıp Doğa to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Salihli's goal looked a bit too open when Erkin Tolgan came free, but Tibet Ötüken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Suavi Öksak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aral Taylak having to interfere. Tibet Ötüken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkin Tolgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erkin Tolgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Memduh Korkut in the 81st minute of play forced Salihli's goalkeeper Tibet Ötüken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fikirtepe booed when Salihli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Gaffar Onsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibet Ötüken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baturay Aydın went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Fikirtepe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Salihli for a fine match.
