Yaşar Levent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orhan Seyfi Koçaş having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaşar Levent got free with Orhan Seyfi Koçaş in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Hakkari SK booed when Suburcu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Işıkalp İskender didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yaşar Levent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Hakkari SK's Asım Arif Akdoğu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Suburcu's goal looked a bit too open when Asım Arif Akdoğu came free, but Orhan Seyfi Koçaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Yunus Özçınar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yunus Özçınar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tan Cevar having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asım Arif Akdoğu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yunus Özçınar got free with Tan Cevar in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 94 minutes, Uğur Şenaltan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suburcu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uğur Şenaltan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tan Cevar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uğur Şenaltan in the 96th minute of the match. Hakkari SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
