When Gökhun Ezrak fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devrek JK's protests and gave Gökhun Ezrak a yellow card for diving instead. 23 minutes into the match, Devrek JK's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Nafiz Kadrihan came free, but Rıza Savtekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Erdal Sadik came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Devrek JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erdal Sadik couldn't finish the play. In the 26thth minute of the game Faruk Nafiz Kadrihan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devrek JK's Rıza Savtekin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emirşah Akça made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gökhun Ezrak sent off a good shot on target. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erdal Sadik made a kick off. Rıza Savtekin was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Teoman Başayoğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teoman Başayoğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 55th minute when Teoman Başayoğlu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Faruk Nafiz Kadrihan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rıza Savtekin was relentless in the 58th minute of the game.
