Sarper İlham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erenköy SK's Raşit Ülküm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faruk Nafiz Tanak in the 15th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Erenköy SK's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Nafiz Tanak came free, but Raşit Ülküm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raşit Ülküm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faruk Nafiz Tanak in the 22nd minute. Şerif Dalmaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Şensoy Tuyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şerif Dalmaz in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Erenköy SK's zone, Faruk Nafiz Tanak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raşit Ülküm came out of the goal and Faruk Nafiz Tanak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sarper İlham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Raşit Ülküm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Sarper İlham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faruk Nafiz Tanak to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Faruk Nafiz Tanak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raşit Ülküm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Şerif Dalmaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erenköy SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yamanlar FK the free kick. Şerif Dalmaz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Sarper İlham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raşit Ülküm having to interfere. When Şerif Dalmaz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Erenköy SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şerif Dalmaz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Erenköy SK booed when Yamanlar FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasim Tokyüz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Yamanlar FK's Asaf Akersoy got a free kick in the 77th minute. Sarper İlham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
