Raşit Ülküm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkant Gence, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Şerif Dalmaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Bahtiyar Çelenk made a huge save. After 16 played minutes Altınordu FK got a freekick which was hit by Güvenç Yazgan. When Kuddusî Tuğalp came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Erenköy SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuddusî Tuğalp couldn't finish the play. Altınordu FK's Berkant Gence got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berkant Gence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raşit Ülküm having to interfere. Raşit Ülküm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkant Gence in the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Ertaç Akboğa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altınordu FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erenköy SK the free kick. A collision led to Altınordu FK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ertaç Akboğa hit a great ball. Bahtiyar Çelenk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berkant Türk in the 49th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 54 minutes, Kuddusî Tuğalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erenköy SK and the Altınordu FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Erenköy SK's Kuddusî Tuğalp got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berkant Gence got free with Raşit Ülküm in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kuddusî Tuğalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Altınordu FK's Erkin Bayer got a free kick in the 59th minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 64th minute, but Raşit Ülküm got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Erenköy SK hanging dry this time. Altınordu FK's Genco İldeniz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Raşit Ülküm but with some difficulty. Çağlar Tecelli, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bahtiyar Çelenk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şerif Dalmaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berkant Gence succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Erenköy SK's zone, Berkant Gence stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raşit Ülküm came out of the goal and Berkant Gence tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th match minute, Erenköy SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahmut Aksoy to maneuver through the defense. Berkant Gence took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raşit Ülküm. Raşit Ülküm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 94 minutes into the game, Erenköy SK's Berkant Türk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bahtiyar Çelenk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Erenköy SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Altınordu FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Altınordu FK.
