The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruhi Mithat got free with Kadri Uralp in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Gencay İncesu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Altay Turhan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batu Samir skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Darbeli Matkap getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Yetkiner Kurtaran hit a great ball. Mahsun Erdemalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeynel Atabey was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Darbeli Matkap's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Zeynel Atabey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kadri Uralp. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Kadri Uralp made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ruhi Mithat sent off a good shot on target. Ruhi Mithat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kadri Uralp having to interfere. In the 35th minute Zeynel Atabey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kadri Uralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Hakan Mutluer charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Hakan Mutluer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Darbeli Matkap booed when Yaprakli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Hakan Mutluer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zeynel Atabey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İskender Baki Kocaman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darbeli Matkap's Zeynel Atabey got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The audience was convinced that Ruhi Mithat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kadri Uralp was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Ruhi Mithat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kadri Uralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yaprakli's Kadri Uralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bektaş İmralı in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yaprakli's Cumali Dilan got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Zeynel Atabey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yaprakli getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ahmet Hafiz Fidan hit a great ball. Ruhi Mithat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kadri Uralp having to interfere. Kadri Uralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruhi Mithat, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Darbeli Matkap's goalkeeper Batu Samir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mahsun Erdemalp. The supporters of Yaprakli booed when Darbeli Matkap was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vahap Çağili didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Zeynel Atabey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kadri Uralp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Darbeli Matkap were the better team. Darbeli Matkap's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
