After 16 minutes, Arda Ozan Sadi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yeniköy and the Gülagac players grew even worse after the yellow card. Egemen Okbaş, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The audience was convinced that Doğuhan Balkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Barış Okyar was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reis Balcı was the one to do the kick off. Gazanfer Sancaktar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reis Balcı in the 54th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Gülagac's goal looked a bit too open when Reis Balcı came free, but Gazanfer Sancaktar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Reis Balcı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğuhan Balkan in the 70th minute of play forced Yeniköy's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Okyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğuhan Balkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mustafa Barış Okyar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Barış Okyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğuhan Balkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Reis Balcı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yeniköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reis Balcı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
