But to his dismay, Ali Atıf Akdemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, Bora Han Ceylan notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Pamukova FK's Nebi Devan. Nebi Devan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Nebi Devan managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when GÖZTEPE's Ali Atıf Akdemir fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Birol Yağızkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Pamukova FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Atıf Akdemir came free, but Nebi Devan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Ahmet Kağan Semi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Atıf Akdemir to strike the kick off in the second half. GÖZTEPE's Bora Han Ceylan got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Kağan Semi struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ziya Şahinter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pamukova FK. Sungur Sağlam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Atıf Akdemir in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nebi Devan saved Pamukova FK from getting behind. Nebi Devan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Atıf Akdemir in the 82nd minute of play. Güvenç Yalaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ziya Şahinter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pamukova FK's zone, Güneş Mahmut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nebi Devan came out of the goal and Güneş Mahmut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
