An unexpectedly hard shot by Sermet Onural in the 53rd minute of play forced Özvatan SK's goalkeeper Günalp Sebukalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Günalp Sebukalp managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Kocaali's Saadettin Çetinsu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saadettin Çetinsu took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Günalp Sebukalp. Sermet Onural ran back to his position shaking his head. Sermet Onural fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günalp Sebukalp having to interfere. Günalp Sebukalp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kocaali eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
