Hadi Yaren took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demirhan Kalender. Nusret Vasif took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erdoğan Oytunç. Samatya's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Kangal SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kandemir İnanöz to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Hadi Yaren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demirhan Kalender was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some careless play in the Kangal SK defense, Egemen Günay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demirhan Kalender. The Kangal SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demirhan Kalender should have stopped the shot. Demirhan Kalender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhan İlbeyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Kangal SK defense, Hulusi Evvah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demirhan Kalender. The Kangal SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demirhan Kalender should have stopped the shot. Hulusi Evvah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. In the 87th minute, Ceyhan İlbeyi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samatya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Egemen Günay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demirhan Kalender having to make a save.
