After 3 minutes, Hacı Sebuktekin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isparta SK and the Silifke players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hacı Sebuktekin kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Isparta SK's goal looked a bit too open when Serhan Yılma came free, but Adnan Tekke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes Isparta SK got a freekick which was hit by Hacı Sebuktekin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Oğuz Boyraz during the 11th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Silifke reached it. Abayhan Ağca's late challenge caught a Silifke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After a rather tough play, Isparta SK's Mehmet Oğuz Boyraz got a free kick in the 17th minute. Arif Tankan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ant Erdursun during the 29th minute. In the 51stth minute of the game Şevket Gencay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silifke's Arif Tankan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Arif Tankan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şevket Gencay, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Serhan Yılma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adnan Tekke having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gani İçkin in the 61st minute of play forced Isparta SK's goalkeeper Adnan Tekke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Isparta SK's goal looked a bit too open when Serhan Yılma came free, but Adnan Tekke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isparta SK's Abayhan Ağca shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arif Tankan but with some difficulty. If Şevket Gencay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adnan Tekke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gani İçkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Serhan Yılma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adnan Tekke was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Gani İçkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adnan Tekke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serhan Yılma in the 90th minute of play. Serhan Yılma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adnan Tekke having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Isparta SK's zone, Serhan Yılma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adnan Tekke came out of the goal and Serhan Yılma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Şamil Çetiner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silifke's Arif Tankan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Gencay in the 97th minute of play. If Gani İçkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Silifke fans cheered their team off the field, for while Isparta SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
