Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Gediz's zone, Mehmet Şefik Kanber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ömer İsrafil came out of the goal and Mehmet Şefik Kanber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 5 minutes, Mehmet Şefik Kanber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EKIN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Şefik Kanber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, EKIN FC's Saruhan Uyguralp got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ahmet Reha Bintuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ömer İsrafil having to interfere. Mehmet Şefik Kanber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Şefik Kanber took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ömer İsrafil. Ömer İsrafil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Mehmet Şefik Kanber managed to get in a good position for a shot. EKIN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Şefik Kanber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ömer İsrafil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mehmet Şefik Kanber came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the EKIN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Şefik Kanber couldn't finish the play. If Ahmet Reha Bintuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mehmet Şefik Kanber managed to get in a good position for a shot. EKIN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Şefik Kanber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ömer İsrafil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When EKIN FC's Ahmet Reha Bintuğ in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gediz's goalie prevented a goal. EKIN FC's Ali Cengiz Öztürk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mehmet Hamdi Öztan, made in the 42nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balaban Nedret got free with Andaç Onal in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half EKIN FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ahmet Reha Bintuğ made the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, EKIN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gündüz Tokur came free, but Andaç Onal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serhan Vafi in the 62nd minute of play forced EKIN FC's goalkeeper Andaç Onal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Şefik Kanber in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ömer İsrafil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, EKIN FC's Ömer İsrafil threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mehmet Şefik Kanber, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 72nd minute, Mehmet Şefik Kanber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 played minutes EKIN FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeki Türemen. Andaç Onal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serhan Vafi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andaç Onal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balaban Nedret in the 77th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serhan Vafi during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Gediz got a freekick which was hit by Serhan Vafi. Ahmet Reha Bintuğ in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ömer İsrafil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ömer İsrafil didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. EKIN FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
