Battal Cüneyt Kayaalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Cem Erentürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saffet Kurceren in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Battal Cüneyt Kayaalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute of the match, Cemil Kalender tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Doğan Ongar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cemil Kalender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğan Ongar having to interfere. Doğan Ongar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Ali Salah in the 24th minute. In the 26th match minute, Cesme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enes Kahya to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes Bozyazi JK got a freekick which was hit by İsmail Cem Erentürk. Bilge Kılıçhan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Afşar Ethem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Doğan Ongar. Bozyazi JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Saffet Kurceren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Cüneyt Kayaalp having to interfere. If İsmail Cem Erentürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bozyazi JK's Aşkın Cevher got a free kick in the 47th minute. Doğan Ongar made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Ahmet Ali Salah sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cemil Kalender was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet Ali Salah struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Doğan Ongar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cesme. If Saffet Kurceren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute of the match Arcan Mertkal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Battal Cüneyt Kayaalp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Cesme getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ercan Bender hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilge Kılıçhan in the 68th minute of play forced Cesme's goalkeeper Battal Cüneyt Kayaalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğan Ongar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ali Salah in the 72nd minute of play. Ceyhun Balabey charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceyhun Balabey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Bozyazi JK got a freekick which was hit by Ceyhun Balabey. Ahmet Ali Salah struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Doğan Ongar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cesme. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Ahmet Ali Salah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doğan Ongar. Bozyazi JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Ali Salah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. During the 84th minute of the match Bilge Kılıçhan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bilge Kılıçhan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When Ercan Bender fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cesme's protests and gave Ercan Bender a yellow card for diving instead. Ercan Bender hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Cesme's Battal Cüneyt Kayaalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Cesme from getting a goal against them. Cemil Kalender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğan Ongar having to interfere. Ahmet Ali Salah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesme were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bozyazi JK for a fine match.
