Sarikaya SK's Arın Saik got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basri Mutlusoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Erman Hanecioğlu made a huge save. Gencer Hızlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Yazgı having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arın Saik in the 30th minute of play forced Atasanayi JK's goalkeeper Erman Hanecioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birol Yazgı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efekan Hekim in the 53rd minute of play. When Arın Saik came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Sarikaya SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arın Saik couldn't finish the play. After 57 minutes, Sungurbey Akbaş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atasanayi JK and the Sarikaya SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sarikaya SK booed when Atasanayi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sungurbey Akbaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Sarikaya SK's protests and gave Tamer Derviş a yellow card for diving instead. Tamer Derviş hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match.
