Erhun Dilsaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Üzeyir Akkoyun having to interfere. İlbey Akad charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İlbey Akad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. İlbey Akad kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sungurhan Yılğıralp to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Levent Mürsel in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Üzeyir Akkoyun saved Büyükdere FK from getting behind. In the 79th minute Levent Mürsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Üzeyir Akkoyun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Levent Mürsel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Üzeyir Akkoyun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 94th play minutes Levent Mürsel shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Üzeyir Akkoyun and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match was over Aris Fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Büyükdere FK throughout the match.
