Ekrem Akcebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necmettin Kutsalmis in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Necmettin Kutsalmis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekrem Akcebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yavuzeli JK's Çağrı Altunç got a free kick in the 17th minute. Basri Canay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veysel Gazel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vecdet Senih, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Talimhane SK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Murat Selim Rusuhi hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Karadeniz Zor in the 26th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Veysel Gazel's left hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Basri Canay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yavuzeli JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Basri Canay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Veysel Gazel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the game, Yavuzeli JK's Basri Canay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Veysel Gazel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Nusrettin Taymaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Behzat Çile might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ekrem Akcebe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Behzat Çile ran back to his position shaking his head. Necmettin Kutsalmis in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ekrem Akcebe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ekrem Akcebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behzat Çile in the 55th minute of the match. Yavuzeli JK's Ersin Naim got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Ekrem Akcebe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Yavuzeli JK's zone, Behzat Çile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ekrem Akcebe came out of the goal and Behzat Çile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Talimhane SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! 2-1 became the score in the 84th minute when Necmettin Kutsalmis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Veysel Gazel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vecdet Senih in the 89th minute of the match. Behzat Çile struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ekrem Akcebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talimhane SK. Vecdet Senih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veysel Gazel having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basri Canay in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Veysel Gazel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yavuzeli JK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
