Alkan Özgun started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Atasehir's Ahmet Koralp Seralp got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ahmet Koralp Seralp kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Alkan Özgun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atasehir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alkan Özgun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bayezit Sanbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayezit Sanbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutlualp Hızlan having to interfere. Cemal Güdü charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cemal Güdü the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Gümüshaciköy FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atasehir:s goal. Kutlualp Hızlan had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Ünal Hatmi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atasehir's goalkeeper Aytekin Gencal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 minutes of play, Atasehir's Bayezit Sanbay made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kutlualp Hızlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Habib Uçarer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Aytekin Gencal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mahsun Renan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Ahmet Koralp Seralp was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. When Gümüshaciköy FK's Sermet Altuğ in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atasehir's goalie prevented a goal. Bayezit Sanbay struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Kutlualp Hızlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atasehir. If Bayezit Sanbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sermet Altuğ to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Gümüshaciköy FK defense, Bayezit Sanbay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kutlualp Hızlan. The Gümüshaciköy FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kutlualp Hızlan should have stopped the shot. Bayezit Sanbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahsun Renan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gümüshaciköy FK's Kutlualp Hızlan got control of the ball when Bayezit Sanbay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mahsun Renan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kutlualp Hızlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bayezit Sanbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutlualp Hızlan having to interfere. The supporters of Gümüshaciköy FK booed when Atasehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahsun Renan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Atasehir left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gümüshaciköy FK.
