But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadri Uzgoren couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sadri Uzgoren in the 37th minute of play forced Tercan's goalkeeper Orhun Tümkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gündüz Tunçkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Orhun Tümkurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orhun Tümkurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sadri Uzgoren, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Feyzullay Koytan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feyzullay Koytan to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Akdagmadeni's zone, Aysan Arslantürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulkerim Tuğ came out of the goal and Aysan Arslantürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tercan's goalkeeper Orhun Tümkurt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Akdagmadeni booed when Tercan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selman Akbaşak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Gündüz Tunçkaya made a precise shot to the right of Orhun Tümkurt. Tercan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sadri Uzgoren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the game, Sadri Uzgoren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Orhun Tümkurt. Sadri Uzgoren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Tercan's Selman Akbaşak got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sadri Uzgoren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orhun Tümkurt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Orhun Tümkurt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gündüz Tunçkaya in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Akdagmadeni's Sadri Uzgoren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orhun Tümkurt narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
