Bican Nuratay's late challenge caught a MERT-SU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bican Nuratay helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mavisehir getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bican Nuratay hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Yakup Kadri Uruç made a precise shot to the right of Saffet Cenger. MERT-SU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Saffet Cenger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Resulhan Bozbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göksel Tarık charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göksel Tarık the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MERT-SU's Göksel Tarık got a free kick in the 15th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Mavisehir's Berker Arslanoğlu tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, MERT-SU's Saffet Cenger got control of the ball when Yakup Kadri Uruç tried to sneak it across the goal line. Resulhan Bozbey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saffet Cenger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Yakup Kadri Uruç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aras Görkem Bayülgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Kağan Tara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yakup Kadri Uruç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Resulhan Bozbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yakup Kadri Uruç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Saffet Cenger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Mavisehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sami Toktuğ to maneuver through the defense. Atilla Kağan Tara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mavisehir's Sami Toktuğ got a free kick in the 55th minute. Atilla Kağan Tara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Aras Görkem Bayülgen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the MERT-SU defense, Yakup Kadri Uruç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saffet Cenger. The MERT-SU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saffet Cenger should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute of the match Yücel Sair sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saffet Cenger skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Resulhan Bozbey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mavisehir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Resulhan Bozbey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilla Kağan Tara struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Aras Görkem Bayülgen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MERT-SU. After 69 minutes, Mümin Karataş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mavisehir and the MERT-SU players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mavisehir's Mümin Karataş got a free kick in the 69th minute. Aras Görkem Bayülgen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçen Evcimen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Resulhan Bozbey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mavisehir's supporters rose to their feet, but Resulhan Bozbey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saffet Cenger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bican Nuratay in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saffet Cenger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute Mavisehir were awarded a corner. Berker Arslanoğlu went to the cornerflag to take it. Mavisehir's Berker Arslanoğlu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saffet Cenger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 89 minutes into the game, Resulhan Bozbey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Saffet Cenger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mavisehir had won after a very even match.
