Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) İlkan Çevikcan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Ekinözü booed when Babak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halit Saylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Osman Ökkeş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birkan Yeğin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vahdet İspirli's late challenge caught a Babak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vahdet İspirli helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ekinözü getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Vahdet İspirli hit a great ball. Artun Sarıoğlu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Cesur Eker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babak's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesur Eker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Battal Gazi Albay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlkan Çevikcan in the 30th minute of play forced Babak's goalkeeper Birkan Yeğin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Battal Gazi Albay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Osman Işık in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Mehmet Osman Işık managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Babak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Osman Işık was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Osman Ökkeş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birkan Yeğin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When İlkan Çevikcan came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ekinözü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlkan Çevikcan couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Osman Işık to strike the kick off in the second half. When İlkan Çevikcan came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Ekinözü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlkan Çevikcan couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, İlkan Çevikcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Babak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halit Saylan to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Ekinözü's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Osman Işık came free, but Battal Gazi Albay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birkan Yeğin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlkan Çevikcan in the 61st minute of play. Mehmet Osman Işık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osman Ökkeş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birkan Yeğin having to make a save. İlkan Çevikcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osman Ökkeş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Birkan Yeğin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cesur Eker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Battal Gazi Albay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Ekinözü's goal looked a bit too open when Cesur Eker came free, but Battal Gazi Albay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cesur Eker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Battal Gazi Albay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Osman Işık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Artun Sarıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birkan Yeğin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Battal Gazi Albay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesur Eker in the 96th minute of the match.
