Samet Tanberk charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samet Tanberk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kılıçhan Kuntay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Kamil Sadullah managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Sariyer's Feyyaz Tarhun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kamil Sadullah made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Kılıçhan Kuntay sent off a good shot on target. Feyyaz Tarhun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İhsan Tura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kılıçhan Yavuzalp kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. A hard shot by Lemi Zahit from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Kamil Sadullah's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Feyyaz Tarhun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamil Sadullah was a little too slow when Kılıçhan Kuntay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by İhsan Tura in the 30th minute of play forced Sariyer's goalkeeper Can Ongun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sariyer's Can Ongun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İstemihan Baturalp in the 31st minute of play. Can Ongun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İhsan Tura, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Atabek Doğu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Can Ongun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İstemihan Baturalp in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kılıçhan Kuntay to strike the kick off in the second half. Gölcük SK's İstemihan Baturalp got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. İhsan Tura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Can Ongun made a huge save. 57 minutes into the game, Feyyaz Tarhun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kamil Sadullah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. İstemihan Baturalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Can Ongun having to interfere. Feyyaz Tarhun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Sariyer's Kılıçhan Kuntay made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kamil Sadullah was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Sariyer's Recep Tayyip Belen got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 77 minutes, Kuddusî Akdamar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gölcük SK and the Sariyer players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, one of Gölcük SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gölcük SK. Kamil Sadullah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kılıçhan Kuntay in the 87th minute of play. Feyyaz Tarhun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kamil Sadullah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by İhsan Tura got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 97 minutes, Atabek Doğu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sariyer and the Gölcük SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Atabek Doğu hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the match, Sariyer's goalkeeper Can Ongun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İhsan Tura.
