Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Devlet Doğanten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Baskil JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Bilge İlteber to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes, Baskil JK's Çelikan Beysan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Necaettin Aurelio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baskil JK reached it. Necaettin Aurelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onur Beykan's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Devlet Doğanten during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Devlet Doğanten hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Metin Tanaltan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Metin Tanaltan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necaettin Aurelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Erzurum's Bekir Ekincioğlu got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of Erzurum booed when Baskil JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Refik Halit Keyfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Devlet Doğanten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erzurum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devlet Doğanten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Zülfikar Sadullah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Onur Beykan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Necaettin Aurelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Metin Tanaltan got free in front of the goal in the 46th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Necaettin Aurelio was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metin Tanaltan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Baskil JK's Onur Beykan in 70 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Necaettin Aurelio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Rıfat Merdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devlet Doğanten in the 82nd minute of play. Rıfat Merdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devlet Doğanten, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Devlet Doğanten might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rıfat Merdan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Devlet Doğanten ran back to his position shaking his head. If Devlet Doğanten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
