Peter Blakewell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Onuralp Açar went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 6 minutes into the game, Emran Toktamış cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Peter Blakewell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Aglasun defense, Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batıkan Talip. The Aglasun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batıkan Talip should have stopped the shot. Batıkan Talip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Fatih Aytuğ had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Batıkan Talip. Aglasun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fatih Aytuğ was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emran Toktamış during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Aglasun got a freekick which was hit by Emran Toktamış. Batıkan Talip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Batıkan Talip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç in the 31st minute of play. Peter Blakewell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harun Ilgın in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Gelâtâserray getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Nusret Çakman hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Onuralp Açar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Blakewell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Blakewell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harun Ilgın in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Peter Blakewell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onuralp Açar in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Akgün Kamuran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Gelâtâserray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nusret Çakman to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes Onuralp Açar rounded Gelâtâserray's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. In the 73rd minute, one of Gelâtâserray:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gelâtâserray. Gelâtâserray:s Peter Blakewell showed great skill when he stopped kaya Tolunay:s penalty. Peter Blakewell was a little too slow when kaya Tolunay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç in the 78th minute of play forced Aglasun's goalkeeper Batıkan Talip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cebrail Camcı fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gelâtâserray's protests and gave Cebrail Camcı a yellow card for diving instead. 80 minutes into the game, one of Gelâtâserray:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Batıkan Talip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fatih Aytuğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Batıkan Talip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Aglasun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emran Toktamış to maneuver through the defense. Batıkan Talip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fatih Aytuğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harun Ilgın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Blakewell having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Onuralp Açar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aglasun's supporters rose to their feet, but Onuralp Açar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Blakewell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fatih Aytuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Batıkan Talip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Aglasun walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
