Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berkay Bakkalbaşı took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alaaddin Tansu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Acigöl getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Refik Zeynel hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Yaser Kutal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haşmet Halıcı skillfully saved the ball. Acigöl's Haşmet Halıcı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baykan Akpınar in the 18th minute of play. Harun Polatalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Haşmet Halıcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Acigöl got a freekick which was hit by Coşkun Bekata. When Alaaddin Tansu came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Göztepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alaaddin Tansu couldn't finish the play. Cihangir Demirkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkay Bakkalbaşı in the 32nd minute of play. Rıfkı Tülün hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Berkay Bakkalbaşı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cihangir Demirkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alaaddin Tansu struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Haşmet Halıcı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Göztepe. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alaaddin Tansu was the one to do the kick off.
