Fatih FK's Süruri Kazım played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tugay Uğurel in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derya Enginsoy in the 22nd minute of play forced Gömec's goalkeeper Beyhan Balbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tugay Uğurel in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Süruri Kazım, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Beyhan Balbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şinasi Ulu in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tugay Uğurel in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Süruri Kazım saved Fatih FK from getting behind. After some careless play in the Gömec defense, Derya Enginsoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beyhan Balbay. The Gömec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beyhan Balbay should have stopped the shot. Süruri Kazım made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tugay Uğurel in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Gömec's goal looked a bit too open when Şinasi Ulu came free, but Beyhan Balbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beyhan Balbay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tuğrul Sağlam showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 74 minute of play. Beyhan Balbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuğrul Sağlam, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute.
