Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barlas Irgatbaşı kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Karagümrük JK's Barlas Irgatbaşı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beyhan Balbay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aykut Suel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tugay Uğurel's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. A collision led to Karagümrük JK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tayfur Malgır hit a great ball. If Tugay Uğurel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tugay Uğurel got free with Aykut Suel in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aykut Suel made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fazıl Hüsnü Sonay sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Barlas Irgatbaşı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beyhan Balbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beyhan Balbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barlas Irgatbaşı, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Tugay Uğurel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aykut Suel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beyhan Balbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tamer Erol in the 47th minute of play.
51 minutes into the game, Gökmen Keçecioğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karagümrük JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gömec the free kick. Gökmen Keçecioğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Aykut Suel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tugay Uğurel in the 52nd minute of play. Beyhan Balbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barlas Irgatbaşı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55thth minute of the game Tugay Uğurel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karagümrük JK's Aykut Suel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karagümrük JK's Fethi Hanbeyi got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Gömec's Rıdvan Öveç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aykut Suel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beyhan Balbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Emrah Kurboga, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Gömec's Beyhan Balbay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Gömec from getting a goal against them. Beyhan Balbay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fethi Hanbeyi in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tugay Uğurel in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aykut Suel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baki Mikail might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aykut Suel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baki Mikail ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71stth minute of the game Tugay Uğurel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karagümrük JK's Aykut Suel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Gömec's goalkeeper Beyhan Balbay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fethi Hanbeyi. After a rather tough play, Karagümrük JK's Barlas Irgatbaşı got a free kick in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Tugay Uğurel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aykut Suel was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After 81 played minutes Gömec got a freekick which was hit by Baki Mikail. Aykut Suel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tugay Uğurel's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Ali Çağrı Erincer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aykut Suel having to make a save. Tugay Uğurel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baki Mikail during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Gömec got a freekick which was hit by Baki Mikail. In the 92nd minute, Baki Mikail hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Karagümrük JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
